We loved our stay at Josh’s home. Everything was convenient and comfortable. Internet was super fast and Roku TVs worked great. Beds were comfortable. Washer & Dryer worked great. Kitchen appliances were good. Walking distance from Las Olas blvd which is the happening place. Josh was quick to respond when I had a question.

I recently stayed at Tarpon Harbor and had a fantastic experience. The rooms, house, backyard with pool and. Lake side was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The: view, location, decor, amenities really made the stay special. The host was friendly, responsive, helpful, and check-in/check-out was smooth and easy. The location was perfect—- near driving distance to the beach, and hour from safari and water park, restaurants, or convenience stores. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere, the pool , the free parking, fast Wi-Fi. I would definitely recommend Josh home to anyone visiting Fort Lauderdale!

You’ll have private access to the entire self-contained townhouse apartment. The outside pool deck and swimming pool areas are shared; one other short-term rental next door may use it on occasion. You’ll have a grill and patio set for your private use.
Our place is tucked in a peaceful neighborhood, so please keep the outdoor volume at a considerable level. After 10 PM, all outdoor spaces (pool & patios) are closed. Time to take the party indoors or call it a night so folks can enjoy their beauty sleep!
The number of guests staying should match what was booked. If you’d like to have additional visitors during your stay, please reach out to us in advance for approval.

Dogs are welcome at Tarpon Harbor 2—with prior approval and a $100 pet fee (max 1). Sorry, no cats—our allergies can’t handle the cuteness. Pups must be 1+ years old, under 45 lbs, spayed/neutered, house-trained, and well-behaved (no wild zoomies, please). No dogs in the pool area, and leashes are a must. Oh—and don’t forget to scoop the poop! 🦴
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and checkout is by 11:00 AM. If you need a little flexibility, just let us know—we’re happy to accommodate when availability allows!
No gators here—our river is strictly a no-chomp zone. You will probably spot an iguana or some other tropical critters living their best lizard lives, but don’t worry—they’re harmless.
We know plans change, so you can always cancel within 24 hours of booking (no questions asked!), or at least 14 days prior for a full refund. Otherwise if you cancel less than 14 days we’ll still send at least 50% of your payment back, along with a virtual hug and a promise to miss you.
We place a fully refundable $350 security deposit hold on your credit card the day before check-in. It’ll show as “Pending” and be released the day after checkout—assuming nothing wild happened and the place is still standing.
